On February 27, 2020, an "MBC Members and Area Cyclists" quarterly meeting will be called to order at 6:30 PM at the Spirit of Peace Community at 506 Toole Ave. in downtown Missoula.
Come and find out how your bicycling behavior in the backwoods can encourage bear attacks, and how to be prepared for bear encounters. Open to the bicycling public.
Please bring an appetizer or snack. MBC will provide non-alcoholic beverages.
- 6:00 - 6:30 arrive, set up, and social time
- 6:30 - 7:00 MBC trips planning session, quick members' meeting
- 7:00 - 8:00 "Bicycling and Bears" speaker Chuck Bartlebaugh of the "Be Bear Aware Campaign." He will have his educational trailer in the parking lot by 6:00 PM.
- 8:00 - 8:30 wrap up, clean up & depart
MBC members and the bicycling public alike are invited to attend. Bring your ideas for March-June spring bike rides. Leaders, get some rides on the events calendar at this meeting!
