Lolo to Mission Bistro 3/22/2020

Post event report:

I scheduled this ride despite the COVID-19 restrictions since riding outside with reasonable separation between people should be pretty safe. And we don’t have very many cases in Missoula and Ravalli counties yet.

We met at the Lolo Conoco at 11 am under sunny but somewhat cool conditions. Ten of us started the bike trail ride, with half wanting to go to Florence and back. It took us just under an hour to get to Florence where 5 of us went on to the Mission Bistro restaurant in downtown Stevensville. The restaurant was closed to inside customers due the COVID-19 restrictions. We got excellent food at the restaurant and ate at it on tables in the mini-park right next to the restaurant. We recommend this as a destination for future rides. We had a tailwind on the way back and averaged over 13 mph which is fast for Sally and Alden on the tandem.
