Post event report:
8 riders met at Silver Park to enjoy this warm morning ride. Starting in Silver Park our route proceeded down the Bitterroot Trail to Hwy 93. Crossing Hwy 93 to Miller Creek Rd. then left onto Briggs St. to S. Reserve St. and the South Hills Trail. Following the South Hills Trail to Arrowhead then Tahoe Dr. we eventually turned right onto 39th Street and using the bike lane proceeded until 39th became SW Higgins Ave to climb the hill to the intersection with Stevens Ave. & High Park Way. Then enjoying the downhill continuing on SW Higgins until it became Higgins Ave. we continued to South Ave. and followed the bike lane through the student housing area. Reaching Beckwith we turned right to follow Campus Drive to the connection with the Milwaukee Trail for our return to Silver Park.

Welcome to the another Tuesday MBC-UMRA Ride
UPDATE 6/8/2024 4:22 PM - Start time confirmation for 10:00 AM on 6/11.
Given the current long range weather forecast for, Tuesday, 6/11, with a high of 84 and 2% likelihood of precipitation and lots of sunshine, we will begin our 2024 morning riding season for the Tuesday MBC-UMRA riding group. The ride starting time has been confirmed for 10:00 AM beginning in Silver Park. A route plan also has yet to be decided as of this posting.
If you have any suggestions for future rides for this primarily Tuesday biking group, please let me know by entering it on the "Propose a Ride" page and indicate that you would like someone else to lead. Also, if you would be interested in leading or co-leading any of the future MBC-UMRA Tuesday rides, you can submit your interest on our "Propose a Ride" page.
Any cancellation/postponement of this ride will be posted here and a cancellation email will be sent out not later than 5:00 PM on Monday 6/10, to all who have RSVP'd. Always dress appropriately for your comfort.
While this ride is targeted towards UM Retirees, it is open to all MBC members. Please remember that this will be a slow to moderate pace with the potential of only one moderate hill, the Reserve St overpass. Please RSVP if you’re considering joining the ride so that you will be provided the leader's contact information and can be informed of any late-breaking changes (e.g., weather or smoke related cancellation).
