Post event report:

5 of 6 happy riders ready to begin their ride to Bass Creek and back. On the ride, one rider's derailleur broke off just before the Bass Creek picnic area. We ended up with the plan that Lech would ride back to get Chris's truck, but we had a strong headwind on the way back. Michael and Kristine and I stopped for pie or lunch at Glenn's cafe, but then just before Lolo we caught up to Lech who was quite a lot slower than we were. So Chris had a long wait to get picked up. He probably walked back to Florence.

Sunday, April 28, 10:00 AM, Happy Trails Ride (35 mi.) on the Bitterroot Trail. Meet at Conoco in Lolo and ride the paved Trail to Bass Creek Campground for time for a sack lunch. Ride, at a moderate pace back to Florence for lunch at Glenn’s Café (great Pies).

Due to insurance concerns, members can ride as often as they like and first time participants will be warmly welcomed.
