6 riders met at Silver Park to enjoy this warm morning ride to explore the Neighborhood Greenway system being developed by Missoula to improve some neighborhood streets for pedestrians and bicycle riders.

Welcome to a repeat of the Missoula Neighborhood Greenways Tuesday MBC-UMRA Ride

Given the current long range weather forecast for, Tuesday, 7/2, with a high of 77 and 10% likelihood of precipitation and lots of sunshine, we will continue our 2024 morning riding season for the Tuesday MBC-UMRA riding group. The ride starting time has been confirmed for 9:30 AM beginning in Silver Park. This week's ride will be the often requested Neighborhood Greenways exploration. See the map below and use the enlarge button in the upper right hand corner. You can also use the left hand side panel to turn the various layers on and off for different details as you zoom in and out over the map.

If you have any suggestions for future rides for this primarily Tuesday biking group, please let me know by entering it on the "Propose a Ride" page and indicate that you would like someone else to lead. Also, if you would be interested in leading or co-leading any of the future MBC-UMRA Tuesday rides, you can submit your interest on our "Propose a Ride" page.

Any cancellation/postponement of this ride will be posted here and a cancellation email will be sent out not later than 5:00 PM on Monday 7/1, to all who have RSVP'd. Always dress appropriately for your comfort.

While this ride is targeted towards UM Retirees, it is open to all MBC members. Please remember that this will be a slow to moderate pace with the potential of only one moderate hill, the Reserve St overpass. Please RSVP if you’re considering joining the ride so that you will be provided the leader's contact information and can be informed of any late-breaking changes (e.g., weather or smoke related cancellation).
